Important Medical Record Changes

  • Will the practice have all my children's medical records?

Yes, all medical records have been uploaded into the new EMR.
  • Will I need to fill out all new paperwork?

Yes, during the first few weeks we are asking that you plan on arriving to the office 15 minutes prior to your appointment as there will be new information that is needed.
  • Will the new EMR have our pharmacy information?

No, a nurse will verify your pharmacy information during triage for your visit. You will also be able to update your pharmacy thru the patient portal.
  • What about medications my child is on?

A nurse will update all medications during triage for your visit.
  • Will I need to new login for my portal?

Yes, a receptionistwill give you an activation code during the check-in process. It will have instructions to activate your account. Each patient must have a unique user ID. 
  • Will this cost me more?

Absolutely not. There will not be ay cost incurred by you. 
  • Will there be any issues with billing?

We do not anticipate any issues in regards to billing. We will still be working with two EMR's for a few months until all balances with insurance/private payers are paid in full. Until balances are paid in our previous EMR, some patients may receive two different bills each month. If you have any questions regarding your bills, please call our billing office at: 315-736-2080 and have your bill with you so you can give them the account number.
