Please be advised that at this time we are receiving very limited supplies of the Flu vaccine for patients with Medicaid and Managed Care Medicaid plans such as Fidelis, Molina and Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield Child Health Plus. We are working to increase our supply but are unable to control the situation. This vaccine is provided to our office through a program called Vaccines for Children. We are not able to use our private flu vaccine for this population as it is against federal guidelines. We do have an ample supply of flu vaccine for patients with private/commercial insurance (through an employer). We are still awaiting shipment of the Flu mist (nasal flu vaccine) for all insurances. Please understand we are working hard to resolve this issue. Please call the office if you have any questions.

We are honored to be nominated for the "BEST PEDIATRIC GROUP IN SYRACUSE!" To vote for our office, please click on the "Best of Syracuse" link above. •Best of Syracuse Nominations under most popular •Health and Wellness section. We appreciate the opportunity to take care of your children!
Flu clinics will begin the weekend of September 15th at the Liverpool office (however, the weekends of 9/15 and 9/22 will only be for patients with commercial (thru an employer) insurance due to limited supply of the Vaccines for Children program supply. We do apologize but it is a state supplied vaccine that must be used for patients with plans such as Fidelis, Molina, Child Health Plus and Medicaid. We will update this post if the supply becomes available sooner. We anticipate being fully supplied by the weekend of September 29th. Weekend hours will be 9-12. Beginning Mondays 2-7 pm October 8th at the Liverpool office Beginning Wednesday afternoons October 10th at the Camillus office Appointments will begin being booked on Friday September 7th (please see note above regarding availability). The schedules will not be opened prior to that date so please be patient. Flumist (nasal flu) is available this year for children ages 2 years and older Please determine which form (injection or mist) you would like for your child when scheduling. We ask that you do not change it at the time of the appointment as it slows down the schedule and the supplies are pre-planned prior to each flu clinic starts. If you have any questions, please call the office.
Parents: Please be advised that when booking yearly well child physicals for children over the age of 19, you should call and check with your insurance company regarding coverage for this service. There have been recent contract changes with some of the plans and they are no longer covering those type of visits. This is only for commercial (thru employer) plans and does not apply to any Child Health Plus or Medicaid plans. Please contact our billing department if you have any questions.
